It was an emotional reunion for a dog who met her favorite soldier after she was away for almost a year due to her basic training.

The soldier had been away due to training for a year and couldn't wait to see her furry baby.

But when the soldier came home and crouched down to say hi, the pup looked confused and scared. It took him a few minutes to register that she was his mama who had been missing for so long.
