Now that Gal Gadot has reprised her role as Gisele Yashar in Fast X, the character could headline two long-awaited Fast & Furious spin-off movies. In Fast Five, Gisele developed a romantic relationship with Han Lue, and one movie later, in Fast & Furious 6, she was seemingly killed off when she sacrificed herself to save Han. However, the end of Fast X revealed that she survived the fall. Gisele's appearance in Fast X sets her up to appear in Fast 11, but her Fast & Furious future could go beyond that.

Gisele is the resident weapons expert on Dom Toretto's crew. She's revealed to be an ex-Mossad agent who worked with Dom's government contact, Mr.

Nobody, while he was running drug operations for the CIA in South America. The character was first introduced in Fast & Furious and got bigger roles in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 before her apparent death. Fast X has brought Gisele back into the main ensemble, but it could also pave the way for the character to anchor her own spin-off projects – and two spin-offs in particular would be perfect.

Gal Gadot Could Star In A Tokyo Drift Sequel After Fast X Return

For a long time, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift was widely considered to be the weakest entry in the franchise, but it's since been reappraised as a cult classic.

The threequel saw Han's supposed death in an explosion on the racetrack, but the character's death was later retconned and he was brought back into the fold. Now that the same has happened to Gisele, the couple could head to Japan and star in their own sequel to Tokyo Drift. Han has old scores to settle, and Gisele could help him settle them.

Gal Gadot Can Lead Fast & Furious' Female Spinoff Movie Next

A sequel to Tokyo Drift isn't the only Fast & Furious spin-off that Gisele could star in.

As far back as 2019, Vin Diesel confirmed that a female-focused Fast & Furious spin-off film was in development (via Entertainment Weekly). Nicole Perlman, Lindsey Beer, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet have all been tapped to work on the script, but the female-driven movie still has yet to come to fruition. Gadot's return to the franchise might be the kick up the caboose that this project needs to get off the ground and become a reality.

When Gisele's death was retconned at the end of Fast X, Gisele was seen breaking Letty and Cipher out of the Agency's secret prison in Antarctica. While this seems to be a setup for a storyline in Fast 11, it could just as easily be a setup for the long-delayed female-led Fast & Furious spin-off movie. It would be great to see this trio as a Charlie's Angels-style band of badass spies going on international missions to save the world together.
