The last Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion soldiers from the Army’s 4th Infantry Division have returned home to Fort Carson, Colo., from Eastern Europe.
Maj. Gen. David Doyle, commanding general, Command Sgt. Maj. Alex Kupratty and family members welcomed the soldiers home during the division’s uncasing ceremony Wednesday.
The division since February commanded the Army’s Task Force Ivy in Poland and the Baltic States, and ceded command to the 3rd Infantry Division’s Task Force Marne during a ceremony Saturday, Stars and Stripes previously reported.
