1. Pain: Nagato, also known as Pain, was the leader of the Akatsuki. He endured a tragic life as an orphan from the Hidden Rain Village. He became Jiraiya's student alongside Yahiko and Konan, but after Jiraiya's death, Tobi manipulated him and led the Akatsuki on a destructive path. Before sacrificing himself, Nagato used the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive the villagers he had killed in a battle against Konoha.
2. Konan: Konan was a loyal follower of Nagato and a close friend of Yahiko. She devoted her life to the Akatsuki, believing in Nagato's goal of world peace. Before her death, she thought of Nagato, Yahiko, and Naruto, the inheritor of their will.
3. Itachi: Itachi Uchiha was initially seen as a villain but was revealed to be a hero.
